Nacobre Denomination: 272
Designation: Yellow brass, 65%

The brass tubing based on copper has zinc percentages that varies from 15 to 35%. This combination are characterized by its facility for cold working, its good mechanical resistance and its pleasant color from pink to yellow depending upon the content of zinc. The corrosion resistance is similar to the pure copper with zinc percentages up 15%, higher contents improve the corrosion under stress. Certain corrosive agents cause an characteristic effect called deszincification. Within main applications of brass tuging is fantasy jewerly, lamps, music instruments, plumbing accessories, fumigatos, radiators, antennas.
